Being a tenant in Sydney Park Village for over a year, I must say that the quality of the hidden city resort style gem is magnificent.
The grounds and common areas are immaculately managed, security is helpful and friendly.
The location is exceptionally convenient with public transport extremely accessible (bus and train) and oozes with a modern "young family/business family" appeal without the pretentious air and price tag. Sydney Park located across the road is amazing for the health nut looking for a running ground, the family looking for a playground for the kids, or just the chilled suburbanite looking for a pleasant surrounding for a break from the concrete jungle.
Rent, for what you get (gym, 24/7 security, tennis courts, immaculate grounds, never having to worrying about rubbish day, convenience store, bottle shop, cafes and dry cleaning all conveniently located in the complex ) is reasonable.
The only single downfall is if you live on the Sydney Park Road side of the complex ( as I do) you get the immense noise in your summer balcony lazing days - but once you go inside and close the sliding door - it's all forgiven.
in conclusion, I highly recommend SPV for rent and from many people that I have spoken to within the complex, to buy also is a wise investment.
The apartment itself is ok but building 3 is very noisy. Neighbours ignore requests to keep noise down. The walls are thin and everything can be heard. I get the impression the place can be kinda passive aggressive. I'm looking forward to moving! Some people seem to like it here by I'm not entirely sure why. Security is over the top. Apparently building 3 was built without any soundproofing between floors so I can also hear people walking around upstairs. Overall I wouldn't recommended the place because I think it's overrated compared to living in other apartments around Sydney.
